"Painting is an island whose shores I have skirted." --Chardin
I like it but think it needs a bit more pop in small places - I’ll give you advice I wish I’d take myself when I’m at this stage :) =take a piece of acrylic or clear plastic and place it over the painting, then using watercolor crayons or something like that, pop in those colors (even a reddish would be very good!) here and there and see what you think - that way, you don’t have to touch the painting yet and you can play with those darker pops of color without worrying about ruining it. It’s almost there but those few pops would really do a lot for it - something I learned a looonnggg time ago in a watercolor class!! And yes, I am now going to pull out one of those sheets for myself to remind myself to do this, too!
Rhonda 's advice is a good idea, that way you wont ruin this lovely piece 😀
That's a great idea, Rhonda. Thanks! I will definitely try that before dabbing away at it!Thanks, Jennifer Rose
