A rare sunny day

(4x7)
A colored pencil sketch of the Delaware Bay from one of the streets near my house.
Last night's yoga was invigorating--I woke up two hours earlier than usual, and since it was nice and sunny, went out on my bike for a ride and some sketching.
Another stretch of beach was covered with seagulls, so I stopped to try to draw some ... Very tricky business.

Hi Laura,

The beach drawing is lovely, and what you leave out is as important as what you put in. You are sooooo good.

Plus I love the seagulls all over the page, just like they are all over the beach. This drawing makes me happy. I can almost hear them, a sound I love.

Take care,

Barbara

I love your beach images--you're on a roll here, Laura! So many beauties.

You've been so energetic Laura - these are wonderful, as Barbara said - the seagulls so typical of how they are - all over the place... tricky for sure, but you've captured them well.

Really like the pink scribbles in the sand! The Word Verification was STLISM = still-ism? The art of being still and seeing the beauty all around you - which you do!
