cape may point trio
A trio for 3/3: These are done--that is to say, I can't think of anything to add or subtract. No doubt I'll paint them again, though. I like the shapes and the shadows provide the strong values I have trouble adding on my own.
These are lovely shapes with their strong shadows. I like the top one with the expanse of empty foreground leading you in, and all the blues in the bottom one with the little touch of rust (burnt sienna?)

I agree, the shapes and colors on these are quite pleasing. And the strong value contrasts, too.
ooooh-- I love Cape May Point we spent a week there a couple of years ago. These paintings are lovely--brings back wonderful memories for me!
