Another quickly done bayside sketch. I'm thinking of these as samplers: showing me the compositional or color-choice problems to be resolved before turning more effort to the scene.
In the bottom one, before I got as far as I did, when it was just a few large, blocked-out shapes, I thought if I did one more of this scene it'd be Milton Averyish.

These make me want to go to a white sand beach. So appealing.
You need to open your own gallery. Your work is so consistently beautiful and inspiring.
I love that you are experimenting with a different shaped paper. Great for your landscapes.
