Right now, I'm regretting putting in those little leaves at the top; perhaps I'll be able to lift them, or at least soften them, once the paper dries. A "rookie" mistake: I put them in because they were there!
Threatening to rain--effects of Bertha--so probably no painting in Cape May today. But tomorrow's forecast is perfect for outdoors painting: sunny, in the 80s, not humid!

I love your blues and greens in this! good luck with your "little leaves" decision- I'm sure you'll do the right thing!
Gosh, I would love to paint in Cape May....can I get on a mailing list for Marge's future workshops?
Thanks Judy. Cape May is a beautiful place and Marge does workshops through the Chalfonte Hotel (they can send you a brochure/info) every year in early July (weeklong) and in late September (weekend). Maybe I'll see you there!
I've enjoyed watching your progress on this. You are the master of blues and greens and I like the way you "framed" the painting with the darker colors in opposite corners..and the orange flower is gorgeous, too!
these paintings and drawings are wonderful. I like the color charts too.
