plein air

my friend Gina and I said as soon as it got to 60 degrees we'd go out painting. So the other day it was 57 but seemed so nice, so we decided to go to Hereford Inlet and paint. Well, the wind shifted and we froze our butts off! But we stuck it out for nearly 2 hours!

Well done for getting out there and painting. I keep telling myself it's something I should do. Love the quick sketch.

It looks warm and sunny in your cheerful paintings at least ;o) The wind is still freezing here too, I don't feel like I have taken off my woolly hat for months.

Getting going can be the hardest part! That kind of quick, contour-like sketch is getting to be one ofy favorite things to do.
I won't be going out again till it's a bit warmer!

It was so sunny, but there was no escaping that cold ocean breeze!
I'd love to knit you a hat! What's your favorite color?
