classwork

Painted these acorn woodpeckers in a class with Megan Swoyer.
(Interesting birds. Look them up on allaboutbirds.org.)
Always fun to paint with Megan; she really gets me to relax and play.
Which was great last night with a big storm raging outside!
It was also the first time I painted in about a week: one of my cats suffered multiple seizures overnight last week and was hospitalized for several days. She's home now, being medicated, and doing well.

You have had a busy and eventful start to the year. Our furry friends are such a worry when they are unwell. I hope she continues with a speedy recovery. The paintings are lovely - your snowy scenes gave me the chills in a very good way ;o) best wishes.
