I'm going to be in a group show in June, and the organizer wants bird paintings from me. Ever since she told me that I haven't been able to paint a bird! (These is from a few weeks back.)
These are absolutely delightful. I love everything about them. And I totally get your dilemma. Rest assured that your bird painting skill will come back because it's definitely something already inside of you. I'm rooting for you!
Don’t let the pressure of having to paint birds stump you - you are amazing with your bird portraits and just do a dozen or so and then pick the best ones (or try to eliminate the ones which are not the best!!). Love both of these and the second one = perfection!!!
