holly & pine

Day Four.
A little change of subject: the perpetually difficult pinecone. (Although I have to say, the holly don't look too good either!) The one good idea was adding the white pine needles.
You are doing beautiful work Laura. I love your birds, the colors are exquisite. The composition is beautiful on the holly and love the freshness of your colors.

I think you did a wonderful job on both the cone and the holly. It would make a good Christmas card.
I've tried them and gave up! YOu did a good job with this painting.
