gulls
(8x10)
The gull above was painted on 140lb. Fabriano paper; the two below on some 86lb. Lanaquarelle paper I had, which I figured would do as long as I didn't try to use too many washes ...

The light in the first is stunning. You always seem to be able to make gulls look interesting. :-)
Such beautiful watercolors - really like the warm colors in the gull and it's rounded pinkish belly :)
