brandywine shoal light

(10x15)
A lighthouse in the Delaware Bay, one of the prettiest.
Now that I've photographed I see I need to darken the values in the foreground a bit.
As I did to Negotiator, below.

Love the play of light in the clouds and across the lighthouse. All nicely done. :)

Hi Laura, I love the way you paint these water scenes. Lighthouses, boats, etc. Your blues and whites are so crisp ..

Absolutely beautiful, Laura. I just love how you handle watercolors. Always spot on perfect! I have always wished I could live in a lighthouse and your painting is exactly why; they are gorgeous!

THis looks gorgeous...the hues in the lighthouse and water...fabulous...with all these nautical themes you better be doing a show at the end of summer:)

deftly painted and beautiful, great value study examples too, really made the Negotiator pop by darkening the waterline. I second the comment about putting a show together! xo Robin

You really have such a way of keeping your colors clean, your strokes confident, and your overall paintings bright! The lighting on this lighthouse is fabulous.
