(11x15)
I think I need to make the water darker on the right, but I'll wait a few days.
Tomorrow, back to Smilla paintings, but today I'll be trying to retrieve all the photos in my Picasa file, which turned up empty this morning: that's what I get, I suppose, for letting other people use my computer: Never again!
Afternoon update: By doing a "system restore" on my computer, I was able to retrieve my 1000-plus photos!

Laura, your cat paintings are a wonderful series. I enjoy them so much.
Smilla seems to be "warming" to her backdropping duties. I could almost swear she has a let's-play-hide-and-seek look in this latest one!
I really like the composition of the boats...and I said outloud...ahhhhh when I read the part of the missing fotos..........ahhhhh that is terrible...I hope you find them!!
Good luck!
Laura, I love your boats, the composition and the water. Your flowers are beautiful too. lovely, take care, Diana
I love how Smilla is peeking around that jar of flowers. Exquisite! I so love sea paintings and yours is no exception. Beautiful job on these boats!
Beautiful work, Laura. I love your loose, fresh style... so inviting.
The Negotiator does seem to float a bit but what a wonderful subject and boat name. No doubt some negotiations are necessary in such close quarters.
And so expansive to be able to shift from boats to cats so easily and successfully.
These are really great, Laura! You sure have been doing a lot of painting, and they're all terrific!
Laura, many times I've had a problem trying to comment on your blog. I'm testing this. so glad to see you just going forward with your painting again. They are better than ever... hugs Barbra Joan
