higbee beach

We went down to a nature preserve on the Delaware Bay, Higbee Beach, for the morning.
The wind was ferocious, but we got tucked in behind a dune.

I was painting in a Bockingford pad. Not sure I like it: very textured. But perhaps I just need to get used to it.

All of these are great - I always love your beach scenes. I think the textured paper added to the scenes but, as always, what you choose to leave white adds so much to the painting (wish I could learn that!).

Thanks, Rhonda. I used to have a hard time leaving white. Now I have a hard time not!
