I like how you rose to the challenge of all of the different colors from the different aspects of this scene. Watercolors are so pleasing to the eye! Beautiful scene.
Thank you, Don. There were so many--in the distance, in the shae, in full sun--shades of green--some very subtle; subtlety is I guess what I feel this is lacking! But, I was painting outdoors in bright sunshine, which, in my experience, anyway leads to "heavier" painting. I would love to figure out a way to paint those fuzzy-edged tufts of evergreen.
