One of my amaryllis bulbs has finally started to open.
I find the pink and white ones hard to paint; But maybe once it opens more and becomes more obviously symmetrical I'll have an easier time of it.
In the meantime still waiting for the red one to open.

It doesn't feel like a year has passed since your last amaryllis paintings. I think it was the red one last year that took a while longer to bloom too. This is such a good colour combination of pink and green, I like the zing.
Thanks Lisa. My red one is just about to pop open, and I hope to get a couple of drawings in before it does!
