An oldish painting I put aside because I didn't like the flower. Added a stem and leaves, a few strokes on the flower ...

My last 2 Wyeth copies. Tomorrow is the day. I'm going to try to keep my eyes and mind open and not be anxious!

I really can't match the subtlety of Wyeth's values.

Do you know if he used gum arabic? It looks like the paint has a lot of body in the lower darker portions, almost glossy... or maybe it's ink? Regardless I like your version and am really drawn to the edges.

I wish his exhibits talked more about his materials. Gum Arabic makes sense! I got some Bristol and other smooth papers, but can't get that, idk,greasy look to the strokes
