Plein air

Visited Fort Dr Soto, a great state park in St. Pete, Fla. A favorite place of mine.
As I always do, I took a small watercolor set and some 5x7 paper.
It usually goes unused, but this time I actually managed to get the paints wet, which makes up, for me, for any deficiencies in the results!

I'm impressed you got out with your wc kit and painted - I carry mine with me always on travels and rarely get it out :( These are really good, too!

Yes! St. Pete a great Florida place. Good for you that you actually painted something.. I do the same thing. Take my w/c and then wind up taking pictures.
