easter lily
(7x9)
Every year I buy an Easter lily to paint; it's a challenge, but a pleasurable one, getting lost in those leaves ... I like trumpet-shaped flowers, and love the leaves on the Easter lily, so many spiraling up the stem.
I agree with Polly! I found you just now. I love your fresh colours and the style of many of your paintings. I´m following you now, and I will sure be back for more! See you! Oh by the way, almost forgot! I too paint watercolour, and you are wellcome to have a look at my blog too :)

A beauty with wonderful greens
You did it this time - beautifully and simply done!
Lovely painting. So hard to paint white flowers on a pale background.

Your off and running Laura.
So good to see you again.
The greens are so beautiful.
You make me want to paint. Your watercolors are pure inspiration. Welcome back, you were missed!
So. After all that talk of apple blossoms, azaleas, and rhodos, what pops up -- a lily. So well done.
Nicely arranged, what with the buds and the shy flower facing the other way.
super !
