In-progress photos: I have to remember to photograph paintings in-progress more often; looking at these makes at least part of me wish I had stopped after the first go-round.
God, Laura! This is beautiful!!!
ReplyDeletehooray you did it. I love it.After looking at your painting,I think my challenge was perspective hmmm. Once again I love your painting.
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning, Laura - the branches tower overhead, and I love your colours and patterns in those dappled shadows.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Love the deep, rich colors!
ReplyDeleteLuscious colors, Laura. I like it a lot.
ReplyDeletewonderful color! It's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI like the rich, bold blue in your sky and how you carried it down into your background. And I think your purple dappled shadows are very well done.
ReplyDeleteLooks good to me. I like the purple shadows. A really nice approach to this subject.
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous Laura! I love the cool colours, just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteNo,no,no cropping! It's lovely as is.
ReplyDeleteI love and envy your talent.
All the colors are wonderful - a nice interpretation! I do like the first photo though - simple trees and blue background. It would be so great if we had an "undo" button, wouldn't it? But that is what makes it art, I think - taking the chance that can't be undone.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bright, beautiful piece! I love seeing the in-progress photos.
ReplyDeleteI love your colors. I check in often to see what you have created. Beautiful.

ReplyDeleteScrumptious!! These are some of the most luscious colors I've seen, in a painting or elsewhere. Yum!!
ReplyDeleteLove the colors Laura! I don't think you should crop it. The color shift in the right corner balances the piece.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the view.
Have to echo all that's been said: the colours are plain gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful... a feast of colors!
ReplyDeleteIt was most interesting to see the masking in the work in progress photos. I like to see all the 'tricks' and techniques used to arrive at a result.
ReplyDeleteAnd a gorgeous result. Fabulous color!
GORGEOUS colors! I love the loose and wet look to this -- very alive.
ReplyDeleteI love the bright colors and gesture in this.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful, the painting, the drawing, the movement - it is just wonderful.
