keurner's barn

                     7.5x11
I've been wanting to paint this picture I took at Keurner's farm; this is the first, quick go at it ... Over did the texture on the wall and made it too colorful I think ... But it's a good photo and I'll try it again.
Couple of quick exercises in a London Drawing Group class. I like these classes because they ask me to do things I normally wouldn't do!

Your brush strokes look so happy and energetic. Also the yellows, golds and oranges of your recent fruity posts are glowing! They are so uplifting.

I think those are the best pears I ever painted, Rhonda--I always have such a terrible time with pears.
I think that picture from the barn would probably benefit from being painted a few times, and I really like the subject so I plan to try it again.
