burchams farm

                        6x12
No plein air class yesterday due to the ongoing extreme heat. I painted this from a photo.
Also started a painting of the farmhouse, which I am going to try to keep light and loose.

Aaah so,

They are manipulating the weather now a days so much, ... with weather cards and mindcontrol aswell with all the airco's everywhere that everybody get's the idea that there is an extreme heat which is only accuring between your ears.

I don't have air conditioning in my house. But it's true: heat is relative. I think my cats feel it more than I do

I really like both of these and hope you do more with the house but it’s lovely in the simplicity of it as is, too. Heat? Well 95 degrees with high humidity causes me to stay inside so I believe in heat (and once you’ve had heatstroke symptoms you do not want them again - that happened last August). No air conditioning? Well, I guess if you were not used to it but we do keep our thermostat up higher in the summer than almost everyone we know.

Heat stroke sounds awful, and dangerous..I did buy myself a portable unit and will be hooking it up. And looking into a mini split over the winter! It keeps getting hotter and I keep getting older: not good!

I want to do more paintings of the house-- it looks good from several angles. I've been too lazy to draw it!
