amaryllis

My first amaryllis to open this year was a white one.
Practiced on some multimedia paper.
Below is the one I've started on watercolor paper ... It looks very careful. Maybe I'll try to bring the feel of the others to this one.

    I have a new amaryllis just peeking up its first flat leaf…will have to draw or paint it as it grows. Happy holidays and a wonderful new year to you - and wanted to tell you I LOVE the kitties you painted!!!
