It's been so hot we haven't done any plein air paintings ... Or biking, gardening, or kayaking!
But it was 70 degrees this morning so we finally got out for a couple hours!
Did a couple of small sketches to try to get in the swing ... Then one slightly larger.
Mostly was just great to get out and paint!
These are all wonderful! Glad you could get outside again. We are having hot weather and it’s just too hot and sticky to go out…will be glad when summer is over but August may be even warmer. When it’s 90+ degrees, I stay inside!

ReplyDeleteVery hot this side too. Thankfully today it seems to be cooling. It was so hot that I am considering air conditioning, something I never thought I would say in the UK. I must be getting old ;o)
Same here! I don't have AC either. Living by the shore used to enough--there'd always be a few uncomfortably hot days, but you had the breeze! Now with the planet getting hotter and me getting old at about the same rate, AC may become necessary!
