snow day

Snowed all day here yesterday, which is unusual; we tend to get rain, not snow. It was wet snow and left only about 2-3 inches of accumulation.

I wanted to go out and get some pictures, but the high here today will be 25 and there are very strong NE winds. So I'm only going out long enough to fill the bird feeders. Plenty of juncos, sparrows, and wrens.

My art room is the coldest one in the house, so I'm going to spend the day working on my knitting.

A little worried about this last hat ... I'm using the recommended yarn and needle but I'm beginning to think that when I'm done it's going to be too small. Which will be disappointing as I was knitting this one for myself.
