practice

Just practicing doing "loose" landscapes.
These were painted from photos, but I hope such practice will help with plain air painting.

    the color combinations here just sing, so much more than "just practicing". Values also carry the eye across the landscape, 1st and 3rd example in particular. Thanks for sharing them!
