day 9: "sea life"
11x14
This is the last day of our challenge. It's been a good kick-start.
For this painting I combined two photos I took ten years ago in Trellis Bay, Tortola, BVI, a beautiful place where I happened on these men working on their boat.
So beautiful. There was a lot of talk in my house today about boats. I guess because the idea of being out on water seems like the ultimate freedom right now. We were trying to figure out how you could have a motor boat that didn't run on gas. We didn't come up with an answer, but we did think about it.

Super painting.

That sounds like a riddle, Barbara. Is the answer "sailboat"?
DeleteBoating, and I include kayaking, which is what I do most of now, really is restorative
Very nicely done, Laura! I just played "Come Monday" this morning. Now I see this and it all ties together:)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Candy
