pine cones
Still being a little more careful than I'd like; but, I think anyway, if I keep at it it, I'll 1) get more confidence and 2) be able to distill the cone to its essentials for representation.
This is lovely. I'm so impressed by how you have persevered in your efforts to paint pine cones in a way that you find artistically satisfying. And I also hear that you're not quite where you want to be. I, for one, love this little painting. Well done!
I like this a lot - you are always striving for better better better and I think you’ve achieved it on this and some of your other pinecones. It is not easy to get those shapes to look right but you did it.
