chickadee

A couple of winters ago, I took some photos of birds in my yard after a snowstorm. They were all overexposed but I liked the quiet wintry mood that caused.
This is my first attempt to paint from one.

    I like it - those chickadees are so cute this time of year at the feeders. Did you use salt for the background?

      Thank you, Rhonda. Yes, I used salt; the result reminds me of the frost we used to get on the windows when I was a kid

    I like it also. Good treatment with the salt.. and you always had a way with birds.
