cats
(4x7)
What a pleasure it is to draw: I always seem to forget ... It can be very meditative, exploratory ... It would be nice to bring some of that into my painting (and reduce the panic).
I love drawing almost as much as painting... I never have angst with drawing... and for some reason they always look good... love your cats.... my number one favorite animal... then of course there are zillions after that.. LOL !
Oh, Laura! These two drawings are to die for. You have such exceptional skill. The expression is superb. What you do with a pencil demonstrates why your watercolors are so fine.
You are really good at it. (I will get over my envy eventually.)
ReplyDeleteHi Laura, it is always a treat to see you posting again! Why am I not shocked that you have incredible drawing skills!
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. Drawing is really honing our skills.
ReplyDeleteI'm frequently hindered by my high expectations.
Beautiful and expressive!
Your cat drawings are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about "the panic", lol! When do we get over that?!
Make sure you try some blue and white dishes. It's really fun!
Thanks for visiting today

Great!! Don't know which I like more - your birds or your cats. Both make me want to paint and draw better.
ReplyDeleteOh wow do I ever LOVE these!!!
