I think he needed the dusting of snow to make him really perky, Laura :) Cute and fun and a great holiday card ready to happen - have a wonderful trip and time to spend doing nothing!
I love chickadees and I love your painting! Such winter slendor. Enjoy you time in Chincoteague. We went there on a vacation years ago. One of the hotels there had the best French toast I've ever had made with Bailey's and all kinds of yum.
