I just bought an eggplant today at the farmer's market, I guess I'll have to paint it before eating it. Yours are so nicely done! The nap sounds like a good idea, too.
Your colours go together perfectly, without muddying each other up. I have a Passion for Painting Award waiting for you on my blog. Check it out for details
Great haiku and a great painting to accompany it. Love the shades of blue and purple, the bits of green at the ends, and the loose handling. I love eggplants too, their shape, color, and shine; you captured them all so well!
Fabulous eggplants, and fabulous lines to accompany them. I love this, Jennifer!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful and these are my favorites colors/shades.
ReplyDeleteHi Laura,
ReplyDeleteYour eggplants are just perfect -- so
rich. The haiku is also ideal for the day. Thanks for both. I think I will take a nap.
Take care,
Barbara
Love the eggplants. Really really nice. The haiku made me smile :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your eggplants, you have really captured their color and their shapes. THe Haiku was nice, I love naps.

Beautiful Laura, both the haiku and the painting.
ReplyDeleteThe eggplants are great. You nailed the color - a great shade - and a nice loose representation.
