What a pleasant way to start my day, Laura. I looked at paintings I hadn't seen in your Picassa album and visited some new sites you listed. Then I imagined myself sitting by the water looking at the gorgeous sunset. Beautiful photos! I love this time of the year!
I love this time of year too. Usually it's pretty warm here through early October, but this year we're getting a real old-fashioned fall, with temps in the 60s and 70s--just what I always wish for; though, of course, now I'm feeling nostalgic for the heat!
I was surprised at all the pink in the last photo--it looks unreal! BTW that's Peter taking Lulu back to her slip.
It was a beautiful day, Cathy--who couldn't use that once in awhile?! We went to the beach at the end of the day when everyone else was leaving: perfect timing!

ReplyDeleteI agree, September is my favorite month, on into October. The amber light, the softness of everything. Glad you posted these sweet scenes.
ReplyDeleteThat just looks and sounds divine - it surely did your painter's soul a whole lot of good to take time out and absorb all that beautiful serenity.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos.....Happy Autumn!
