I have to run to watercolor class; hope to post the result later, though I am having difficulties with my connectivity at home
Thanks for the poetry tip. Being married to a poet has allowed me to appreciate poetry. My students memorize four or five poems each year: Fog, Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening, etc. I have had students come up to me eight years later and recite them for me! That's cool.
ReplyDeleteWOW! your latest paintings are so gorgeous! love!
ReplyDeleteI love your colors so much.
thanks for the poetry tip :) it's my second favorite art form :)
I used to love memorizing poetry--Keats, G.M. Hopkins, Wallace steven, W.C. Williams, Pound, Yeats, Frost; I once, in a dark time, of course, memorized "Dover Beach"! Wish I could remember them now now, but, even with all the clutter in my head, some lines do come back!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Melanie; I really love your recent paintings too! They're astounding!
