A preview of what's to come ... I did this from a photo I took on Pigeon Key last time I was in the Keys and, inspired by Suzanne (http://www.suzannemcdermott.blogspot.com/) on Lama-Li, handmade Indian paper, which is resistant, that is, the paint sits on top and blends or moves easily--which I like; lifting is not easy (which I don't do much, or try not to, but which is a characteristic of the paper I most often use, Fabriano). I do very much like the wove texture, which reminds me of papers used by Sargent.

have just browsed around and found your blog - I love your loose, wet watercolours - makes me itch to get mine out again
Hi Cathy. Thanks so much for viewing and commenting on my blog; I'm new to blogging and receiving comments from fellow watercolorists is such a thrill. Do you have a blog I can visit?
I'll be home from Fla. around the 9th and will be posting the sketches I've done here. I hope you'll check back!!
We've been waiting for new posts...
Anything ready to show?
Whoops! Just read that you won't be home till the 9th. See you after that.
