coconuts

Did a little more to this, trying to add darks and move some of the warm colors into different areas.
I dont know if it's done--I feel it has places that need more definition, but I don't think I can go any further with it.

I like it but think it needs a bit more pop in small places - I’ll give you advice I wish I’d take myself when I’m at this stage :) =
take a piece of acrylic or clear plastic and place it over the painting, then using watercolor crayons or something like that, pop in those colors (even a reddish would be very good!) here and there and see what you think - that way, you don’t have to touch the painting yet and you can play with those darker pops of color without worrying about ruining it. It’s almost there but those few pops would really do a lot for it - something I learned a looonnggg time ago in a watercolor class!! And yes, I am now going to pull out one of those sheets for myself to remind myself to do this, too!

That's a great idea, Rhonda. Thanks! I will definitely try that before dabbing away at it!
