Oysterman

From a picture I took of an oyster farmer returning to the dock.
Overworked the dark greens a bit--they kept drying too light. And I was hoping to get more variety in there; when I painted it, I thought I was varying them...not enough though.

I like that you still post the art you are not quite satisfied with. I think you are an amazing artist.

Thank you, Cindy. If I didn't post the things I'm not quite or not at all satisfied with, I'd have very little to post!

I like the front line of greens - light, yellow, pretty, airy. It's that back line that doesn't quite live up to your standards and I'd just cut it down so it's all about the boat, the man, and the water, but that bright green behind him on the shore :) I don't know if you ever redo one from white paper but this one might be worth doing again :) I know you're very hard on yourself and your painting but we love seeing your work so keep sharing :)

Thanks, Rhonda. I like the cropping idea!
And I will paint this again.
