"posed"

(8x10)
I don't usually tackle pictures with cut glass in them. Many watercolor artists paint cut glass so beautifully and impressively, depicting each shard, reflection, and refraction. I don't think I could reproduce those details accurately and have instead to rely on trying to give the impression of cut glass.

Lovely fresh crisp painting. And your glass is very convincing.

Hi Laura,

This is beautiful, and so is the one before it. I am a fan of the impression, otherwise a photo does the job. Love your work.

XOXOXO Barbara

Yum! I am definitely going to restart my little still life to see if I can emulate the juiciness and life I see here.

Great work on the glass and beautiful combination of colors and shapes! We don't need all the details.
