more daffodils

 (11x15)
More daffodils. I never tire of them, but you think I'd learn something about yellow: I think it's the color I understand least.
The ceramic jug was sent to me by my friend Robin, who went on a quest to find me a Cezanne-ish type pitcher, a thing which I had always coveted.

I never tire of them either. Yours are especially charming and refreshing! I love the pots and vases that you arrange them in, and the character that you give to each petal and blossom!

Tried to post this yesterday, no matter it's another day!
You've certainly gotten back into the swing of things without missing a step.!
Your previous post with the jug and lemons... it's you !!!
Thanks Laura for sharing again.. You've always been an inspiration to me, something I missed while you were away.. BJ

These are so beautiful. I think you are amazing with yellow! In the last few days Toronto has gone from almost no signs of spring, to full on colour and flowers everywhere. It is beautiful -- like your paintings.

Beautiful Laura, I especially love the way you've capture the glaze on the jug, the color variations and progression where you delineate the shadow. Delicious details!
