new colors!

One thing I don't need, but can't resist--like gold sandals or blue cheese--is new colors. I just got these four: royal blue, rose violet and peacock blue (Holbein) and perylene green (W&N).

(3x4)

Playing with my new colors: I like the neutral made with the rose and the green, and the dark green made with the royal blue and green.

The new colours sound enticing but - don't know if it's my computer, or Blogger, or a wicked techno-fairy - but I can't see your images... :-? just blank squares...

Ha! Sounds like some kind of a practical joke! I know the phenomenon you're referring to--it's happened to me too: the page doesn't upload correctly (for some reason) ... All my computer expertise consist of the advice: try again later (when the fairies are otherwise occupied!)

Hey Laura,
I can't see them either but who knows, blogger decided to post some pictures of mine this week rotated to the right no matter what position the original was in. Go figure.

Sorry about that--whatever it was! I could see them ... Reinserted the photos--hope they're viewable now!

I can see one photo here! Perhaps you have reloaded. Beautiful fresh lively colours for a subtle change in palette.
It's been very interesting watching the evolution of your dune paintings, which are so evocative, I can smell the sea. Thank you for putting up the photos that inspired them.
Thanks for advice on the VSD.

There they are! Beautiful colours (I find it so hard to buck my colonial education and leave out that 'u'!) - who could resist them, I'd even forego the gold sandals for some new colors!
