see you next saturday!

I'll be in Lewes, Delaware, Monday through Friday, staying with my friend Shelby and attending a painting workshop with Judi Wagner. When I come home on Saturday, May 10, I hope I'll have a lot to post!

(9x12)

A quick, freehand study. When I got down to the leaves I found them more interesting than on first glance, the way they curve around into cone shapes ... Next time I want to spend more time on the leaves.

I agree, the leaves of geranium have very interesting shapes! Have a great week, Laura, I look forward to seeing the results of your workshop.

We always have geraniums and I have appreciated the interesting shapes and colors of the leaves. Yours look just right.

I wish joy on your trip and training.

Laura, these are really impressive - I love them. When you get back, take a look at the geraniums Sandy Maudlin posted.

Thanks for the link Suzanne (and for mentioning me on Sandy's blog!)--I love her geraniums: the cool colors, all the airy space she left ...

I love the way you captured the geranium, Laura. I find them very difficult but yours are really lovely.
